Maintenance Contracts

Most customers prefer support via a maintenance contract so they know their systems are maintained by a team of qualified professionals. They also know that every IT expense is covered and can be budgeted for on a quarterly or half-yearly basis. How's this for service:

  • Email problems and file server failures are given an immediate response.
  • 80% of issues are resolved within 4 hours of notification.
  • 98% of issues requiring an engineer's visit are fixed on the first visit.

P&L Networks customers also benefit from;

  • Provision of replacement or new hardware.
  • Cover for all parts, labour and expenses for all your IT equipment, including standard keyboard and mice wear & tear.
  • Printers and monitors on loan if your own need to be replaced or repaired.

Helpdesk Support

Who do you speak to when you want advice on any IT-related matter? P&L maintenance customers contact the support helpdesk. Because we get to know your systems we can advise you quickly and efficiently on any aspect of IT you want to ask about.

The helpdesk is not an offshore premium rate number and it doesn't ask you to 'press 1 for the helpdesk'. It's staffed by qualified, professional engineers – the same engineers who would attend your premises for a call-out or install your systems.

Support can be delivered by telephone, email or remotely, depending on the issue or question you have. We set up VPN connections with our maintenance contract customers so we can access their network systems over a secure connection from our headquarters in Cheshire. Most network problems can be resolved this way, as can many maintenance tasks.

We also guarantee that our helpdesk will always be manned during working hours by qualified engineers. Does your existing IT Support company give you that guarantee?

Labour-only Support & Specialist Advice

This type of maintenance contract is ideal when all you need is access to an experienced and qualified IT Support helpdesk.

It's perfect for companies with remote users as each user can get the IT assistance they need, anytime they want it. Mobile staff with laptops or working at sites away from the office will know that expert IT assistance is only a phone call or email away. Our engineers can use remote access to resolve issues, which usually means no need for engineers' visits or a return to the office. It increases the time your staff have access to their computers and systems, making them more productive and effective.

Labour-only Support is like having a dedicated IT helpline for your company, except you don't need to recruit extra staff.

Companies with limited IT ability also benefit. For example, the helpdesk can provide absence cover and specialist expertise for small IT departments, or where IT is the responsibility of someone with multiple roles.
